In accordance with the Louisiana Administrative Code {4:XIII.Chapter 1*), Northwestern State University has created a body to provide oversight for collection policies and procedures for all goods and services provided by the University. The ARAC at NSU consists of standing membership from across the divisions of the University.

The Business Affairs' Office is dedicated to providing personal, prompt and efficient service to all students and campus offices, support for the University's fiscal operations and accurate and timely financial reporting that is compliant with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
The Higher Education Amendments of 1998 (HEA98) mandates that the University annually distribute to all current and prospective students a notice of the availability of institutional and financial assistance information required to be disclosed pursuant to the Higher Education Act amendments, and pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) which governs access to student educational records maintained by educational institutions and the release of information from those records.
Responsible for the promotion, support, and security of electronic data systems, network infrastructure, hardware, and usage at NSU.
